How do you get people to be hungry for the next thing you say?

How do you get people to be open to, hungry for, present with the next thing you're about to say?

By opening up without second guessing how we think we should speak. That's when people start to see themselves in your story.

This truth, once again, lit up like a firework in our workshop at the Southbank Centre on Wednesday night. Ridiculously grateful and proud of everyone that came, crafted and shared ahead of our show at the London Literature Festival.

It's almost impossible to choose which stories will be performed on the night as each and every one of them are now not only authentic but rigorously structured, gorgeously cinematic, and loaded heavily with laughter and tears.

Thank you for another reminder about why I love what I do.

#Authenticity is as entertaining as it is moving.
